New Generation Ministries

New Generation Ministries is the outreach ministry of Rev. Dr. Russell & Mrs. Elaine Morrow, dedicated to serving Our Father, Christ Our Redeemer and Man Our Brother and is an outreach ministry of the Greenfield Charge of the United Methodist Church located in the Greenfield area of Weakly County, TN.
Since 1985 our ministry focus has been sharing God's Message of Hope Deliverance & Victory with people from all ages and walks of life during these changing times in which we live.

1) To encourage our brothers and sisters in their "Life In Christ" as they strive or even struggle with their faith journey and commitment as a Christian.
2) To provide a complementary program called the Umoja Enrichment Program designed to assist parents, churches, and public schools combat juvenile delinquency and enhance the quality of life of our youth.
3) To encourage and stregnthen the family.
4) To utilize various media to share God's message of Hope, Deliverance & Victory and To introduce our youth to the world of Christian media as a tool of ministry of even a career.
Developed in communities across Mississippi and Tennessee, New Generation Ministries was born out of concern for the declining social, moral, and religious attitudes of youth in the southern rural communities where Dr. Morrow served as a pastor in the decades of the eighties.
In each community where Dr. Morrow served he focused on insightful and practical ways for rural churches and community groups to engage community youth, helping them to see themselves as God sees them, to recognize the gifts and abilities God has given them and encourage them to use these gifts and abilities to glorify God and make a positive difference in their community.
NGM has worked with parents, churches, schools, law enforcement, city and county governments and youth courts to address the gangs, drugs, academic decline, and the lack of self esteem among the young people we came in contact with.
Through the years NGM has ministered to community youth through our Summer and Winter Break Youth Conferences, The UMOJA After School Enrichment program now known as the NGM Enrichment Academy, The New Generation Community Youth Choir, now known as the Community Outreach Fellowship Choir, Kid's Press and New Generation Media Productions. Today New Generation Ministries continues to addresses the needs of youth and young adults with a mix of "Old School Values" and contemporary strategies rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ for facing the challenges of this new millennium.
The goal of New Generation Ministries continues to help people traveling the road of life through the saving grace of Jesus Christ living the best lives they can while contributing to the larger community with the gifts and talents given to them by God
